KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): Traders in Sher Khan Port in northern Kunduz province say hundreds of acres of land of the port’s township has been grabbed by local strongmen.
Sayed Mujtaba Hashemi, head of Traders Association of Sher Khan Port, told Pajhwok Afghan News that around 250 acres of land of the port’s township had been usurped by local strongmen and people.
“Unfortunately the grabbing still continues. The illegal practice needs to be stopped immediately,” he said.
He said that around 1,800 land plots were considered for traders in the township that should also include markets, warehouses go . . .
