KABUL (Pajhwok): The Kabul Municipality on Thursday launched the national bus service on a trial basis in the central capital, saying 200 more vehicles would be made operational within the next week.
Mohammad Daud Sultanzoi, the mayor of Kabul, said at a ceremony held in front of the Eidgah Mosque that for five weeks, they would test five vehicles on the route from Ahmad Shah Baba Mina to the Pamir Cinema.
He said the Municipality had purchased and repaired these damaged vehicles at a low price from the Ministry of Defense and Interior Ministry.
