KABUL (Pajhwok): New Australian and Danish ambassadors to Afghanistan on Thursday pledged their countries’ support to ending war in Afghanistan and restoring durable peace, a statement from Presidential Palace said.
The new Australian and Danish ambassadors on Thursday presented their credentials to President Ashraf Ghani, the statement said.
President Ghani thanked Australia and Denmark for their support to Afghanistan in different areas and hailed the role of security personnel from both nations in NATO Resolute Support mission.
They discussed Afghan government efforts for peace and stability in the country and congratulated the new envoys on their new assignments.
Both ambassadors expressed joy over their appointment in Afghanistan and pledged their support to peace and stability in Afghanistan.
