HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): More than 172,000 Afghan refugees, including 2,161 children without guardians, were forcibly expelled from Iran during the past one month, an official said on Monday.
Herat Refugee Department Director Mobin Qaderi said 334,269 Afghan refugees repatriated on their own will through Islam Qala Port during last solar year.
He added 152,000 women and 2,161 children without guardians were forced to return to Afghanistan by Iranian authorities.
