KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 1,847 new Covid-19 cases and 78 deaths from the virus have been recorded in Afghanistan in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said on Monday.
The ministry said 4,629 tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours and the virus was detected in 1,847 people, taking Afghanistan’s overall tally to 105,749.
Kabul recorded the highest number of cases (312) followed by eastern Nangarhar province where the virus was detected in 228 people.
At least 125new cases were found in Jawzjan, 111 in Daikundi, 86 . . .
