KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): The Taliban have taken charge of goods export and import in the Sher Khan Port of northern Kunduz province, a well-placed source said on Friday.
According to the source the Taliban told businessperson in the port to continue their business activities as usual.
“Businessmen have started businesses, but all technical equipment, vehicles and other goods in the port where houses had been evacuated,” he said.
Kunduz Governor Esmatullah Muradi said he was unaware of the situation.
The Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said export and import stopped in Sher Khan Port for one day but the next day thing started as usual.
