JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Coal businessmen in eastern Nangarhar province complain their trucks loaded with coal remain stranded at the customs office awaiting clearance since last three months.
They argue that in other ports of the country, coal export is allowed legally but in Nangarhar businessmen are not allowed to export coal.
Customs officials did not speak in this regard but Provincial Council members said the president had banned coal export in order to facilitate other businessmen.
Tens of vehicles loaded with coal are waiting customs clearance at Nangarhar Customs Department for the past three months.
