KABUL (Pajhwok): Taliban’s acting higher education minister on Sunday said universities would be reopened soon and boys and girls would continue their education in separate classes.
Talking to a press conference here, Mualvi Abdul BaqiHaqqani, the higher education minister, said that all the education process in the country would be based on Sharia law.
In the education sector, anything in conflict with Islamic principles would be reformed, he added.
“Salaries would be paid to government universities, if there is any delay in the payment (for now), we apologize for that but the problem would be solved soon,” he said . . .
