KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund says the situation is ripe for the implementation of the TAPI gas pipeline project.
Hassan expressed the view during a meeting with visiting Turkmenistan Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov at the Presidential Palace.
“We want the commencement of the mega connectivity projects between the two countries because all necessary steps including security have been met for the project to kick off,” Hassan claimed.
He supported the implementation of connectivity projects such as TAPI gas pipeline and fiber optic schemes, saying their implementation would spur the economic development of the two nations.
