KABUL (Pajhwok): Taxi drivers in capital Kabul say their earnings have dropped by more than half due to closure of government universities, schools and institutions.
Dad Mohammad Siddiqi, a taxi driver in Kabul, told Pajhwok Afghan News he would earn from 1,200 to 1,500afghanis a day but now he can't earn even 500afghanis.
"I charge 20 afghanis for transporting a person from one part of the city to another, but this amount is nothing and I can't afford the fuel,” he said.
