KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ariana Afghan Airlines (AAA) announced on Monday it would operate special flights to Saudi Arabia beginning on December 4 to repatriate vaccinated Afghan citizens.
After the Taliban captured Kabul on August 15, flights to all countries were suspended and have not yet returned to normal. As a result, many Afghans remain stranded abroad and inside the country.
In a statement, AAA said Saudi officials had agreed with the Afghan embassy in Riyadh on repatriating the Afghans, who had received a single dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, from Afghanistan to the kingdom.
