GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The Department of Agriculture and Livestock in southeastern Paktia province claims collecting more revenue than ever before and taking significant steps to improve its performance.
Director of Agriculture Maulvi Abdul Rauf Saeed told Pajhwok Afghan News the revenue had increased by 60 percent due to the collection of ushr.
He attributed the spike in revenue to an increase in the collection of pine nuts in ushr.
