KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of women attending a conference in Kabul on Monday said women made up half of the society and should be given a share in the cabinet.
Tajur Kakar, a former deputy minister for women's affairs, told the gathering that women were faced with various problems and they had no specific address to solve them.
She suggested that the Ministry of Women's Affairs be reactivated and that one female deputy minister be appointed to each of the Ministries of Education and Higher Education.
