JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Agriculture Department of eastern Nangarhar province on Wednesday launched spring tree planting campaign in the province.
Provincial agriculture officials say more than five million saplings will be planted in cities and districts across Nangarhar this year.
QariFazalRahmanSadiq, deputy Nangarhar agriculture director, said at the launch of the campaign that more than five million fruit and non-fruit trees would be planted in public places in Jalalabad city, the provincial capital, and districts of the province this year.
