PARON (Pajhwok): Residents and officials in eastern Nuristan province say most areas of the province are deprived of telecom services.
Abdul Nasir, a resident of Kamdesh district, told Pajhwok Afghan News no telecom firm worked in their area and most of the families were unaware of major incidents even the death of their relatives.
Mir Afzal, a resident of Bati Gul village and deputy director of the financial and administrative department of the province, said he faced problems in office due to lack of telecom services and the internet was so weak and he could not reply emails timely.
