JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Work and Social Affairs Department in eastern Nangarhar province provided vocational training to 400 women in the past four months, an official said on Monday.
Work and Social Affairs Director MawlaviFaridullahHaqani said these women were provided training in different garments sewing profession --- embroidery, tailoring and child garments sewing.
Women who received the training live in the SheikhMesriTownship of Sarah Rod district and they suffered from worst economic crisis. The training was provided to them with financial support of WFO and technical cooperation of BFANO.
