KABUL (Pajhwok): The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has expressed concern over the situation of Afghan women and girls, saying the country should not leave the gender behind.
UNHCR in a series of tweets on Thursday said that the Afghan people are facing a crisis of unparalleled proportion and women and girls are suffering the most.
The organization says that the rights of women and girls should be protected in Afghanistan.
