KABUL (Pajhwok): A resident of capital Kabul on Monday set himself on fire due to financial problems in Dehmazang Chowk, eyewitnesses said.
The 40-year-old man tried to commit suicide in front of his four-year-old son, but people rushed and rescued him from being burnt.
According to an eyewitness, the man cited unemployment the reason behind his action.
The man was being treated at Isteqlal Hospital for the wounds he suffered from fire.
