SHARANA (Pajhwok): Thirty-two women on Tuesday graduated from a two-year midwifery training in Sharana, the capital of southeastern Paktika province, and received their graduation certificates.
Dr. Mohammad Usman Sadat, technical officer at the Organization for Health Promotion and Management (OHPM), told Pajhwok Afghan News that the women completed their midwifery training at the community-level midwifery training center (CME) affiliated to OHPM.
He added that these women have been trained by professional and experienced female instructors and will be employed in areas of Paktika that are deprived of health services.
