GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): A blind young man -- a Quran memoriser -- teaches hundreds of religious students online the holy book’s recitation and pronunciation.
Ehsanullah Sidiqi, 20, is a resident of the Qala-i-Naw village of the Khwaja Omari district of southern Ghazni province.
Sidiqi told Pajhwok Afghan News he studied up to sixth grade at a school in his village before graduating from a higher secondary school for the blind.
After passing the 12th grade, the hafiz received religious education for four years. Currently, he is teaching 800 students.
Sidiqi teaches them the Holy Quran via WhatsApp . . .
