KABUL (Pajhwok): Some residents in capital Kabul have demanded relevant authorities the resolution of vendors marketing loudspeakers that actively contribute in the air pollution and caused mental stress for people.
They said the use of loudspeakers on the hand-carts; stalls by vendors on the roadside have put psychiatric pressure on people.
Norullah, a Kabul city resident told Pajhwok Afghan News: “The outbreak of loudspeakers noise in different parts of the city, streets and carts is annoying and have caused mental diseases for some people.
He sees no need to the use of loudspeaker in the city because the people would find whatever they want to buy.
Ahmadullah another resident of Kabul said the salespeople deliver loudspeakers to the streets and every part of the city that wakes up children in the morning; he asked the government to address the issue.
A seller, Mohibullah told Pakhwok, if they turn the loudspeaker off, the will sell nothing. Mohibullah thinks the loud sound of the speaker encouraged the customers.
Kabul Municipality Niamatullah Barakzai told Pajhwok that they have collected some loudspeakers in some parts of the city and would further control the loud sounds to address the matter.
