Over 100 new teachers appointed at Daikundi schools

NEILI CITY (Pajhwok): The Department of Education in Central Daikundi province has appointed 102 new teachers, according to a statement on Sunday.

The statement said that teachers have been recruited through a free competition and examination process from 10 districts and their hiring process will go on.

It is worth mentioning that 62 of the newly appointed teachers hold university bachelor, 11 teachers institute certificates and remaining 20 are school graduated.

The newly appointed teachers will fill nearly half of the 226 vacant seats announced by Daikundi Education Department.

Education Director Rahmatullah Mudaser told Pajhwok that Daikundi province human resource strength is 5,864. Over 3,350 positions are occupied while the remaining 2,500 positions are vacant.

The vacant seats of the administrative strength of Daikundi education directorate is a challenge for this administration since a years.
