KABUL (Pajhwok): The Deputy Prime Minister's Office for economic affairs on Friday said Afghanistan has gained the position of a bridge between Central Asia and South Asia and would soon become the region’s roundabout.
The statement comes a day after the first train carrying commercial goods related to the joint economic corridor of Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and China arrived in Balkh province.
In a statement the Deputy Prime Minister’s office for economic affairs said geographically Afghanistan has a special value in the region and the country now served as a bridge between Central Asia and South Asia . . .
