KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan have started practice sessions after arriving in Australia ahead of the ICC Men’s Twenty20 Cricket World Cup.
Afghanistan Cricket Board wrote on its Facebook page that the Afghan national cricket team had started practice sessions after arriving in Australia in order to fully prepare for the upcoming World Cup.
Afghanistan team traveled to Australia after conducting a training camp in the United Arab Emirates.
The Twenty20 World Cup will start on 16th of October in Australia and will continue until 13th of November.
Afghanistan are placed in Group A with New Zealand, England and Australia and two other teams will find their way from the first round.
Afghanistan will play their first match on October 22 against England and on 26th of the same month against New Zealand.
