KABUL (Pajhwok): Fawzia Koofi, former lawmaker of Afghanistan, has won Human Rights award from Spanish bar Council.
Koofi tweeted: “Receiving Human Rights award from Spanish Bar Council was a good occasion to highlight dire situation of people in Afghanistan.”
He wrote: “During the acceptance speech I accept the award for the women of my country who live in an open prison due to restriction but continue to fight.”
