KABUL (Pajhwok): Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday announced sending 170 tons of food and non-food items in assistance to Afghanistan.
In a statement, the neighboring country said the aid included flour, wheat, rice, cooking oil, clothes.
The statement added that the aid reached Afghanistan via Hairatan port in Balkh province and was handed over to Afghan authorities.
