PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A vessel carrying DAP fertiliser, imported under the Afghan Transit Trade (ATT), has arrived at the Gwadar Port in Pakistan’s southwestern Balochistan province.
The fertiliser weighing about 28,000 metric tonnes would be transported to the neighbouring country through Chaman and Torkham crossing points, the state-run news agency reported.
Seen as the industrial nerve centre of the Gwadar Free Zone, the port offers importers economic benefits in terms of well-organised operations, advanced cargo handling, vast storage areas for cargo, extensive ancillary facilities and faster turnaround time and delivery, according to the news agency.
