TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): Funded by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), three projects --- electricity, clean drinking water and toilets --- have been completed in two schools and a health center in this capital city of central Uruzgan province.
Francis Busiku Butichi, UNICEF official in the southern zone who inaugurated the projects today, said the schemes would enable children and mothers to have access to clean drinking water and other facilities.
He added the three projects --- electricity, clean drinking water and toilets --- consumed 10 million afghanis.
