KABUL (Pajhwok): UN humanitarian aid chief Martin Griffiths says the world’s body has no intention to stop providing assistance to Afghanistan and instead has allocated a bigger budget for the country.
Griffiths made the assurance during a meeting with acting Refugee and Repatriation Minister Khalilur Rahman Haqqani, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation tweeted on Wednesday.
The UN humanitarian aid chief was accompanied by RamizAlakbarov, the UN special envoy of Afghanistan, Sofia Sprechmann, the head of CARE International and Janti Soeriptothe, head the Save The Childre during the meeting.
