KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Afghanistan has condemned in the strongest terms the burning of a copy of the holy Quran in Denmark and asked European countries to prevent spreading religious hated.
MoFA on its twitter handle said: “The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns the desecration and burning of the Holy Quran in Copenhagen city”.
The ministry said the senseless and provocative act to disrespect the beliefs of over two billion Muslims under the pretext of freedom of speech was no justifiable.
