KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan’s Ministry of Interior has introduced its special envoy to the Afghan embassy in Islamabad for coordination on refugees’ problems.
The embassy tweeted that Ambassador Maulvi Sardar Ahmad Shakib met deputy minister of interior of Pakistan, Yousaf Nasim Khokhar, on Friday.
Both sides discussed problems of the Afghan refugees living in Pakistan, the embassy wrote.
The two sides conferred on the harassment of Afghans, via problems and repatriation of the refugees living in the country without legal residency documents.
The Pakistani official assured full cooperation and ensuring necessary coordination with the embassy on addressing the problems.
