PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Pakistan government has been urged to open trade routes between the tribal district of Bajaur and Afghanistan.
Speakers issued the call at a well-attended event organised by the Bajaur Culture Association in Khar on Wednesday.
The government was urged to open Nawa Pass, Ghakhi Pass, Laitai and other routes to boost trade with the neighbouring country.
The speakers called for Pakistan and Afghanistan to initiate joint steps to open the routes and facilitate traders on both sides of the Durand Line.
