KABUL (Pajhwok): The acting minister of commerce and industry has hailed Iran’s Chabahar port as one of the best places for investment by Afghan entrepreneurs.
Nooruddin Azizi, currently on a visit to the neighbouring country, said the port provided access to the Indian Ocean.
At a meeting with the governor-general of Sistan and Baluchestan province and other officials, Azizi called the Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone as a good facility for Iran’s neighbours.
IRNA quoted him as saying that the trade zone enjoyed a geostrategic position that attracted international businesspeople.
