KABUL (Pajhwok): The ‘Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan’ (IEA) has banned hemp cultivation nationwide and conveyed to the people that nobody is allowed to grow hemp on their fields, according to a statement on Saturday.
The statement issued by the Administrative Affairs warned that the banned plant will be erased if anybody cultivated it.
The Ministry of Interior had been directed to refer the violators of this decree to the judiciary which will punish them in line with Sharia Law.
The decree is applicable after its endorsement date and printable in the official gazette.
