KUNDUZ CITY (Pajhwok): An agriculture complex worth $300,000 has been built in northern Kunduz province, creating job opportunities for hundreds of people.
Director of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Maulvi Amanullah Hassan told Pajhwok Afghan News the complex was constructed by a trader at a cost of $300,000 on over 14 acres of land.
Cucumbers, peppers, eggplants, watermelons, melons and other fruits and vegetables were cultivated in the complex, the official said.
He added: “This is a great achievement for our country. We ask other businesspeople to invest in their homeland’s development.”
