KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkmenistan has sent 125 tonnes of humanitarian aid Afghanistan, currently faced with serious economic and food crises.
The assistance from the Central Asian nation includes medicine, medical supplies, food items and textile products.
In Ashgabat, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the aid being sent to Afghanistan in support of its vulnerable people.
Earlier in the week, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund to send aid for Afghan children and impoverished families.
