ATLANTA (Pajhwok): Facebook company Meta is set to launch a social media app called Threads to compete with Twitter today, (Thursday).
Meta announced the Threads platform would work by connecting with Instagram.
Meta said the Threads application would be a “text-based conversation” app, to be launched in the US on Thursday and in the world on Friday.
This marks a new step forward in the market of competition between the owners of the two giant social media companies -- Facebook and Twitter, owned by Mark Zukerberg and Elon Musk.
