KABUL (Pajhwok): The Economic Commission meeting has approved the establishment of Afghanistan’s Economic Advisory Board.
Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the meeting was held here late on Saturday.
The establishment of Afghanistan’s Advisory Economic Board was approved after detailed discussions.
Baradar’s office said the board would be manned by professors of universities, economists and representatives of businesspeople and industrialists.
The proposed board will be providing necessary advice to the government on important economic issues in case of need.
The commission also tasked a committee to prepare guidelines for chicken slaughtering . . .
