JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Department of Agriculture and Livestock of eastern Nangarhar province has started surveying poor and helpless women to establish family gardens for them in three districts of the province.
Officials say they are preparing a list of poor women who would be trained in agriculture to enable them to support their families.
They say practical work on establishing family gardens for 1500 poor women will be started in near future.
