KABUL (Pajhwok): The women must not be in a hurray about resumption of their education as the Islamic Emirate (IE) is committed to giving women their rights in the light of Islamic Sharia, Neda Mohammad Nadeem, the acting higher education minister has said.
In an interview with the state-run television last night, Nadeem said the Islamic Emirate took all decisions according to Sharia and the nation must support them.
While answering to a question about the resumption of girls’ education, Nadeem said: “Indeed, this issue has become controversial.”
He did not point to any specific date about the resumption . . .
