No one’s orders acceptable about higher education: Nadeem

PUL-I-KHUMRI (Pajhwok): Acting Higher Education Minister Maulvi Neda Mohammad Nadeem has said no one’s orders would be accepted regarding higher education which would be only equipped with Afghan and Islamic culture.

Addressing university students in northern Baghlan province on Saturday, Nadeem said one of the goals of the last 20 years sacrifices had been to make educational centres professional and equipped with Islamic culture.

He also said that this year, four and a half million afghanis had been allocated for the capacity building of university teachers.

Nadeem added he had started efforts to obtain scholarships for students and had talked to some ministries to hire newly graduated students.

Maulvi Sidiaullah Khalid Mansoor, Baghlan University chancellor, said the university’s surrounding wall and some other parts had been rebuilt, but some parts needed to be built.

He stressed that all problems of students should be paid attention and addressed.

A number of teachers asked the minister to construct a township for them.
