MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS) says it has provided free medical health services to nearly 90,000 patients in northern Balkh province during last one year.
Balkh ARCS head Abdullah Shahkar said this at the opening ceremony of the special week of Red Crescent in the province.
He said: " ARCS provided free medical services to 8,9944 patients in five health centres of the province during past one year."
He added ARCS also provided treatment for 513 children with congenital heart defects during the period.
