KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen have killed a man in the Mosakhel district of southeastern Khost province.
According to information, Saeed Arman was killed in Gabar Pa Ghara village of the district a few days ago.
Relatives of the slain man told Pajhwok Afghan News that Saeed Arman had come from Saudi Arabia on vacation a month ago.
Nimatullah, nephew of Arman, said that his uncle went missing after Taraweeh prayer at night and his body was found in the fields near his village in the morning.
According to him, Arman was mysteriously killed by the thieves with knives and stones, and they snatched about 3,000 Saudi Riyals and two mobile phones from him.
Nimatulllah urged the security officials of the province to arrest the thieves and bring them to justice.
He said Arman and his family had no personal enmity with anyone.
Usman Ghani, another relative of Arman, also asked the government to find the perpetrators of this incident and punish them in public.
Meanwhile, Jahad Mangal, police chief of the district, confirmed the incident and said that an investigation was underway to find out the main motive behind the incident.
