KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry says asafetida and saffron worth $77.5 million have been exported during the past six months.
In a video clip, MoCI spokesman Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad said 617 tons of asafetida worth $57 million was exported to India, Uzbekistan, America, United Arab Emirate (UAE) and Iran.
Also, about 18 tons of saffron valued $20.5 million was exported to India, Spain, Saudi Arabia, America, UAE, France, Germany and England.
