LASHKARGAH (Pajhwok): Authorities in southern Helmand province have reversed 640 acres of usurped state land in the past two week, an official said on Friday.
Mawlavi Mohammad Qasim Reiaz, the governor’s spokesperson, told Pajhwok Afghan News during the anti-land usurpation campaign in the past two weeks state land 640 acres in Gerishk, Marja, Washir, Nad Ali, Garamseer, Nawa, Nahr-i-Seraj, Babaji and Sangin districts had been reversed.
He said self-made parking and deep wells built by some people in these lands had been destroyed during the retaking campaign, he said.
He said the process to get back usurped lands was underway in Lashkargah, the provincial capital and districts.
