KABUL (Pajhwok): Ten newly constructed school buildings have been put into use in southern Ghazni province and a school building was renovated in central Maidan Wardak province, an official said on Thursday.
Spokesman for the Ministry of Education Qari Mansour Ahmad Hamza wrote on his Facebook page the school buildings in Ghazni consumed 110 million afghanis.
He said a safe environment was created for students in Aab Band, Gilan and Ajristan districts after implementation of these projects.
Separately, the building of Ghazi Mohammad Jan Khan High School was renovated at a cost of 120,000 US dollars with financial support of the country’s IHH Charity Foundation in Jaghatoi district of Maidan Wardak province, he added
The building was put into service during a ceremony after renovation.
