KABUL (Pajhwok): At least four Pakistani police personnel have been killed and several others injured in a car bomb attack on a police checkpoint in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to reports.
The Express Tribune reported that attackers rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the “Fateh Khel” police post during the night, triggering a powerful explosion that completely destroyed the post.
The report added that the blast was so intense that its sound was heard in distant areas, while nearby houses were also damaged.
According to the report, security forces cordoned off the area following the incident and launched a clearance operation.
