KABUL (Pajhwok): Sweden has provided nearly $3 million to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund (AHF), the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said.
In a post on X, OCHA stated: “OCHA thanks Sweden for its generous contribution of SEK 28 million (US$2.99 million) to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.”
It said the funding would enable humanitarian organisations to respond rapidly to sudden crises across Afghanistan.
OCHA described the assistance as “generous” and thanked Sweden for its continued support.
