KABUL (Pajhwok): One individual was killed and two others wounded on Saturday morning when a barrage of rockets hit Kabul, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.
Tariq Arian, the MoI spokesman, said four rockets were fired from a vehicle in the Khair Khana area of the capital.
Three of the rockets landed around the Hamid Karzai International Airport, causing no damage.
He added one rocket fell in the Hawa Shinasi area of the 9th police district, one in Zanabad locality and one in Khwaja Rawash, a residential area, where one individual was killed and two others were injured.
The official said investigating teams had reached the areas.
Recently, five people were killed and more than 10 others wounded when 23 rockets slammed different parts of Kabul. The projectiles had been fired from Tahya Maskan area.
