FARAH CITY/SAR-I-PUL CITY (Pajhwok): The distribution of improved wheat seed varieties to 3,800 farmers began in western Farah province while work on four uplift schemes was launched in Sar-i-Pul, officials said.
Up to 1,000 growers received the aid in Farah City, PushtRod and Andardara districts. Another 2,800 other farmers in other districts were given improved wheat seeds and chemical fertilisers under the Regional Agricultural Development Program - West (RADP-W).
